Abdul Rashid

Distinguished International Professor Dr. Abdul Rashid, former Chairman, of the Department of Islamic Learning, Dean Faculty of Islamic Studies and acting Vice Chancellor, of the University of Karachi is a well-known religious scholar, researcher, social worker and author. He has authored 27 books, presented/published/lectures delivered abroad 92 and awarded 43 PhD degrees under his supervision. Among his publications, the book entitled ‘Islam the Religion of Tolerance and Peace’ (2005) and ‘Spectrum of Religious Education’ (2010) are well received in Europe and America
